The Magic of Duets - A Safe Space to Take Risks!
Tips, tricks and ideas that will help you hone your duet skills
Watch Promo
Agata and Kasia have been dance partners within The Siren Society and The Siren Project for years now - and they are happy to share their favourite tips, tricks and ideas that will help you hone your duet skills. This workshop is designed to be useful for dancers who work with others as well as those who currently mostly practise on their own. You can work on important skills relating to connection and communication from your own home - and keep them in your toolset for when you dance with your dance partners or any new dance friends!
We will not focus on the usual duet steps and passings - instead we will squeeze many exciting duet possibilities from classic and basic FCBD Style steps. We will cover connection, grounding, communication and explain how we approach building safety within a duet as a starting point that may lead to gradually exploring more challenging improv dynamics and bravely taking risks - all while having a fantastic time with your dance buddy!
This course was originally filmed live exclusively for FCBD®U
