Paloma Prieto

Director of Tribal Alabardas

Paloma Prieto is a dedicated and passionate dancer from Aguascalientes, Mexico. At 31 years old, she is married and shares her home with six dogs, two fish, and a tarantula. Paloma holds a degree in Hispanic Letters and a Master’s in Social Research.

She is the troupe director of Tribal Alabardas, a group exclusively specializing in FCBD®Style, and she co-directs and co-owns Sinalefa Estudio Escénico, a multidisciplinary space in Aguascalientes. Paloma's journey with FCBD®Style began in 2014, and she became a Sister Studio in 2017. In 2024, she completed the Technique for Teachers and Advanced Teacher Training courses.

Paloma is also an active event organizer in Aguascalientes, focusing specifically on FCBD®Style, and she continuously attends workshops to stay sharp, creative, and inspired for her students—plus, she thoroughly enjoys the experience.

A self-proclaimed super nerd and geek, Paloma often weaves anime, Harry Potter, and other pop culture references into her classes, even if her students don't always catch them. Dance is her life; it connects her deeply with the world, friends, life, and God. Her troupe and dance space are a dream come true, and the people involved are her solace.

Paloma is honored to share her passion with others and is a proud advocate for social causes, including her support for a free Palestine.
